The Science of Gay Genes

The first so-called gay gene discovery came out in 1993. The Daily Mail ran with the headline, Abortion Hope After Gay Genes Finding. Now geneticist Steve Jones from University College London joins us to help unravel our obsession with this perennial story. He says that even if we do find some other gay genes they're likely to be of interest to scientists but of absolutely no interest for prediction.
