Hainan's Transformation Into a Freight Trip Port
Hainan is being transformed into a world-class freight trip port with an independent customs regime set to be in place by the end of 2025. The island will have a simplified visa policy for nationals from almost 60 countries, making it easier for foreigners to visit and do business. A trader said that Hainan has a competitive edge compared to neighboring shopping destinations, including Hong Kong.
