The Moral Argument for Formulating Beliefs in the Basis of Evidence
If you formulate your beliefs on the basis of non-evidence, you might end up planting a bomb to kill infidols. You're more likely to construct something outside yourself to bring about your flourishing and your own communities flourishing. Formulating your beliefs in the basis of evidence is the moral thing to do. It's not just that there's no evidence for it. There couldn't be evidence forIt. Because if you imagine doing a double blind trial with a control and an experimental or identical, then so there can be no evidence forit. That'd be identical.
