The House Is Defiled

In Leviticus chapter 14, a priest is told to clean the house of mildew or mold. He must slaughter two birds and dip them in fresh water before he sprinkles it seven times. After that, all who enter the house are ceremonially unclean until evening. Matt says this seems like there's a level of protection here for God from people getting sick.
