Foucault and Derrida Discuss the Possibility of History and Historicity
Foucault and Derrida are almost two sides of the same coin, not one side opposing the other so that that side can profit itself up. That is, they only differ in their deferral, which is a kind of Derridian way to look at it. They instead attain their definition by positioning themselves against an oppositionary other who is also performing the same deferrals. Now it is this logic of logo-centrism that gives birth to the possibility of history and historicity.
