Exploding a Volcanic Eruption

Prior to 20 14, there were just two sharp, jagged, peaked islands sticking out of the water. We camped there for about five days and we had a boat with a moulty beam bethymetry system on it. Once we were able to access these old islands, we could see the deposits from previous events. There were two very large explosions from this volcano, one about 11 hundred a d and one around 200 a d. These are more or less our only clues of what we expect might happen next - trying to understand what's happened up to this point.
