Prayer Is Answered Through Epiphany
There's a story that always runs around in theological circles of the guy on top of his house as the flood waters rise. He gets up to heaven, looks at God and says, why didn't he save me? And God of course says, I sent three boats. What more did you want? So we have this idea that prayer is answered through epiphany. And just answered through that small rescue boat. For that person that says, how are you doing? And our responsibility and relationship is to say, I'm not doing well. I'm having trouble hearing God's way for me through this"
