Epiglotitus - What Is the Natural History of Epiglotitis?
There are probably some cases of patients with epiglotitus who are doing ok, and then they get ring a spasm and kind just like shut down the airway. And my guess is that that phenomenon is a lot more common in pediatric than adult medicine. In general, what is the natural course of epiglotitis? I think that in most cases, if you give patients turs and antibotics, they will tend to gradually improve. But i think luringersat spasm versus just furtheir airway enclusion, is really hard to differentiate.
