The Importance of Iconography in Gay Culture
I think the iconography, I was thinking about this the other day. Like the performers and I guess non-performers too that are elevated to queer icon status. And then there is a bit more of a story behind it of why. Obviously gay men admire the feminine, like being comfortable in their feminine form. We admire that for women. It's a really like symbiotic, like maybe we're more powerful together. Mm hmm.
