The Importance of SwiftUI in Programming

SwiftUI is a declarative UI language that was introduced to WBC in 2011. It's confusing for podcasters trying to talk about it and explain it at the development side. You can kind of go, okay, I'm building a setting screen. I can really, really quickly knock this out in SwiftUI. But then somebody's like, well, we want to make this specific piece in the setting screen do this kind of crazy thing. And so having that kind of backing up SwiftUI, especially while SwiftUI is less mature, has been impressive.
