Aaron Carroll: I was a little unclear about the where on the person they were shot. It sounded to me like maybe she was taken out first and then he had an opportunity to respond. We can't say that they didn't see the killer approaching them, but what we do know is based off of information that's come out,. Carnel would have been shot while still seated at the park bench.
