We tend to hold ourselves to high standards. We are not great at stepping into like a place where we can give our self advice as if we're giving our friend advice. People don't automatically think that way, right? So say that to yourself. Why are you any different than your friend? Why don't you deserve the same response? I have some theories on this, but I want to hear your thoughts.
