The Role of Race in Crime

Sally Kohn: Why do we in America have stereotypes about people's likelihood to engage in criminal behavior that are tied to race? She says they're linked back to ecology and then stereotype black Americans as being more likely to possess faster life history strategies. Kohn: And so it is not inherently about race. There is nothing about being black that makes you more likely to commit crime than being white or Asian or Latino, she says.
