The Drama of the Hebrew Bible

The Bible is charged with a spiritual drama all the time, says Adams. Jesus speaks this way all the time and it's not just about Rome or Babylon but demonic forces at work in our world. How does a culture get to a place where it becomes good to do that in the name of those values? That's what the story is about. And you could say, well, it's just misguided humans, you know, and if they were more educated, like, I guess that would solve the problem. But let's be realistic about human history. This is not ancient history.
