These spears are the oldest complete weapons that we have ever found and they date to about 380 000 years ago but i can't even almost add them. The word atlattl is a nawatch word which is the language spoken by the group of people in central mexico that we now call the Aztecs. About 45,000 years ago anthropologists think that spears emerged with a little extra help which is a spear thrower you use in conjunction with it so it works to fling the shafted weapon.
