In 20 15, the strategy was rolled out across the whole country. We were just sending as clear message that domestic violence was not to be tolerated. One criticism of iceland's approach is that it's too intrusive and could actually put people off seeking support. But police call outs have more than doubled since 20 14. And i spoke to several women who told me the experience helped them realize how much they needed help.
