The Psychological Mutiny of the Mad Saint

There's a site of generative incapacitation, where we need to fall down and lose the posture of rectilinearity. I've spent a lot of time amongst the devotional traditions within India. The mad saint who simply runs out into the street and has no choice but to cry the name of the divine or fall to their knees. How does this meet psychology? There are situations like maybe what you need to do is run out into the streets and fall on your knees and cry the names of the gods. Celebrating that lack of control or loss of control actually may do more to get things moving in a way.
