Introduction

The intrastructure investment and jobs act is the federal government's biggest intra structure investment since the new l but as we're beginning this huge national project, we've got to remember our history. Intrstructure projects in the past have often ignored and hurt communities of color and low income neighborhoods. We don't want to make the same mistakes we did whenwe built the interstate highway system or a railroad track that split a vibrant neighborhood in half.
