Is the Vatican Right on COVID?

The average layperson does not understand moral theology or vaccine science well enough to jump into the debate in an educated way. There are people who have that competence. But it's gonna be exceedingly rare. And so we should at least default to saying, well, this is right unless I know some clear evidence that it's not.
