The Importance of Substance Dualism
I don't see why substance dualism would have to imply monocyclism. And it depends on the metaphysical framework, the broader framework in which you are articulating these different claims about dualism Monocyclism or materialism, etc. For seizure, the dualism is intellect, soul dualism, not mind-body dualism. It's a different division right there. But for that dualism, yes, the separate character of the intellect implies its unity. Because it cannot be glorified in multiple chunks of matter. So even for the embarrasses, they would agree with the second book of the animal, like the embarrasses.
