Learn French and You Can't Tell Who's Doing What
Late latin speakers used other words and phrases to help place the nouns and verbs in relation to one another. When it's just the s of the plural form that isn't being pronounced, you can figure out that there's more than one tako. But sometimes you can't figure out who the hec they're talking about because they keep omitting the s at the end of a verb.
