I agree with a lot of what he said. The WTO has been incredibly successful in the past and I don't think we should just toss it to the side because there's some pressing problems. We've been focusing on ways that Europe might adapt to what the US is doing, but one example would be learning from their successful imposition of a trading system that puts a real price on carbon. Carbon border adjustments can be a way to say to domestic industry, listen, we understand that you're cleaner than some of your counterparts abroad outside of Europe and the United States.
