Arden convinced the group to sign with him, which all of them except Mariette would later regret. Arden's financial exploitation meant that it would be decades before they saw any money from their hits. Both Mariette and Lane would be dead before they started getting royalties from their old records. The group have been performing a version of Solomon Berg's Everybody Needs Somebody To Love - which is credited to Jerry Wexer and Bert Burns.
