Anda was a crew member on an atlass obscure trip to the arctic. She became friends with 91-year-old john, who had lost one of his sons in a biking accident just weeks earlier. The journey took them through some of the most inhospitable terrain they'd ever seen. They also encountered their first touch of death - three men died from pneumonia and mal nourishment during that winter.
