How to Track the Difference Between What You Think You Know and What You Really Know

Many people are unaware of the processing that goes on in their brains, under the hood and in the blink of an eye. Practice asking yourself why, after the fashion of a curious toddler. Work on improving your ability to tease out what you observed separate from what you interpreted it to mean. Wherever possible, try to make explicit the causes of your beliefs and to seek the causes underlying the beliefs of others.
