The Women and Grooms of Premier League Footballers
There is actually a term for the wives and girlfriends of football players. It came to prominence during the 2006 World Cup when it was used in Gossip Magazine. The original WAGW class contained plenty of women who were famous in their own rights. Two such ladies were Colleen Rooney and Rebecca Vardy. But that's the last we'll hear pretty much about Wayne Rooney and Jamie Vardy, as they are very much minor characters in this story. Today, it's all about their wives, Colleen and Rebecca.
