Speaking your truth is absolutely crucial to your health. I've seen firsthand the censorship around online content, I've been de-platformed and I've had posts taken down endlessly. Today on The Wellness Way I’m joined by Scott Dixon, someone that has worked in the tech industry for decades. He runs an IT company and is a researcher and writer too. He’s on the podcast to discuss an issue that a lot of guests have brought up, cancel culture.

Google no longer should be considered a search engine, it started out as a search engine when it was first launched back in the late nineties, but now it’s just using its editorial privileges to decide the top 400 or so results from any search term.
When you look at these big tech companies and their connections to big pharma, this could be a very good reason why so many of us are censored in the natural health platform. The day that Philly got taken down off TikTok for the health benefits of a stinging nettle and breath work, a friend of hers also got taken down off Facebook and lost her whole community of 2000 that were all clients of hers. She was only talking about the health benefits of lettuces.
If you control something and there is something out there on your platform, for example, that will threaten a business that you are invested in, then you are incentivized to shut that down. This is what we see from the likes of Facebook and Google.
It doesn’t quite make sense that there are algorithms that can remove your content promoting natural health, but horrible illegal activities still go on online and aren’t taken down anywhere near as quick or at all.
