People in the first world are accustomed to more safety and stability. But that's not the case for large swaths of the human population, who haven't grown up in a situation where safety is the norma. The yale program on climate communication mapped out which groups are most concerned about the climate crisis and what are they willing to do about it. And black and latino communities are more likely to be concerned than their white counterparts,. Also move into a space of agency and action, likely tied to their awareness of facing the brunt of the hazards themselves.
