If big tet companies like meta get their way, and there's a seamless mix between the real world and the virtual world, what kind of implications might that have in terms of driving addictive behavior? Once you stop talking about allowing unfettered access to people's realities and manipulating it to a certain extent, that's got severe implications for people's mental health. Metar alone, they invested ten billion dollars last year. So they'd invested massably. Microsoft invested massively. Gurgle, apple will be investing very, very soon. A lot of these companies developing new headsets and developing their own versions of the mesofers itself.
