The Van Hayekian Tacit Knowledge Point

What determines whether a technology is labor augmenting or labor replacing. Is the form of the tacit knowledge that the workers using it happened to have. And since we cannot know what shape this tacit knowledge takes before the technology is actually invented, attempting to classify future technologies and the labor can only introduce noise into an already noisy system. That I would say is one of my key insights as well. We have a toolkit of things that we've done in the past that ended up creating broad based wealth. Yes. Some, some real degree of economic equality. And a society that most people generally bought into.
