Journey of Sperm Through the Female Reproductive System

This chapter explores the path that sperm takes through the female reproductive system, starting from the vagina, through the cervix, and into the uterus. It discusses the challenges sperm faces, such as narrow pathways and pH differences, and the chemical gradient that attracts sperm towards the egg. Additionally, the process of capacitation, where sperm remove certain proteins to penetrate follicular cells, is explained.
