The Parables of Jesus

The last episode we talked about the parables a lot. And then a new one just occurred to me last night since we talked last. The two trees of Eden that were intertwined represented a choice of whether we will receive the gift of God's own divine life or whether we will choose to take from a lesser kind of life for ourselves, namely our own knowing of good and bad. Once humans make the wrong choice, they forfeit the gift. They began a train wreck of consequences that result in all the pain and death and evil of our world.
