The Rules of Performance Poetry
Dance functions when language fails, all of the characters. And so it's interstitial in season one, and then it becomes sort of these bigger dance pieces. I've always wanted to do direct to dress to camera with poems. For me, it was important for like the culture of performance poetry to have those pieces. It's fun to show artists in a show that are not pursuing their art.
