The Power of Empowerment in the Workplace

Employees should feel empowered to do that in a perfect world but it really comes from the top like the leader. If you ask for those things and you're not, you're not expected to be here as long as you get your work done. I think also work life balance from a female perspective has a lot to do with if you're in a heterosexual relationship with a male and a female. And I would just say that there's not work life balance as a female because women are predominantly at home all day. But vice versa too is an additional hurdle for many females and traditional relationships who don't want to give up their full-time jobs when they have time off.
