17 76 - A Musical Review

17 76 is a musical that was recently put on at the american repertory theatre in cambridge, where i sawit. And it is now coming to broadway. The great thing about this musical is,. we've lost the ability to say two things at the same time, which is, it's a great country, and it also is massively problematic. People will say either of those two things - but 17 76 manages to say both with one voice. It just sent shivers down my spine. I only recommend it for really understanding what is spectacular and problematic and terrible about this country altogether in one piece.
