The Importance of Fasting for Health

Fasting is getting into a metabolism that is noticeably and importantly, healingly different from your ordinary fed metabolism. There are fasting clinics in Germany where people live on about 250 calories a day of vegetable broth - not so many calories that will bump them out of their fasting healing metabolism.
