The Songs of Central Asia, Written by Yiddish-Speaking Jews
A collection of songs written by Yiddish-speaking Jews was found in a dusty library. These are songs which hadn't been seen since the war, having been suppressed by the Soviet authorities. Today the Jewish population of Central Asia is small,. but there are faint traces left of the huge populations who survived here. The question now is how did more than 1.6 million Jews end up in this region during World War II?
