Engaging Students Through Slides With Friends

The goal of what we're doing with slides with friends is basically lowering the bar to entry because you can walk into a room of blank faces or turned off screens and you can ask something. So rather than saying like, hey, someone, you know, volunteer, what did they do yesterday? Or you know, who knows the answer to this question and getting those crickets? Instead, you can put it on the phone and they just have to tap a button and then they are both participating in a safe way where they're not, they don't need to venture too much.
