Genesis tells us the dimensions of the ark, so we can easily calculate its size. According to genesis, the arc was 30 cubits long, 50 cubits wide and 30 cubits tall. The total floor space on the ark was about 100 thousand square feet. For comparison, that's about the equivalent of two american football fields. Each of the three decks would have been about two thirds as big as a football field.
