In the United States, we have this hodgepodge of different kinds of institutions. 56% of students who attend college attend college within an hour of, of an hour's drive of their homes. 70% of students go to school within two hours of where they grew up. The funding crisis, the declining support for colleges and universities hit them the hardest.
