A letter to Dr. Lisa Arena from a parent about their daughter's struggles with ADHD came forward. The mother says her daughter is smart and talented, but she doesn't do the work that would reflect that outwardly. She asks: How can I support her without completely micromanaging her? "I think this is a very, you know, broad and common scenario" for parents of kids with ADHD as well as those who don't have it.
