Don't you think there's a time and a place to report on serious matters, say, foreign countries interfering with our democracy? I'm not sure. The danger is people being so demoralized that they don't pick up the news and they don't tune in and they're not informed. "I worry as a citizen about the laughing, taking out the levity of what exactly is going on," she says.
