You don't want to take that verse and just run straight to the pew and say any of you feeling defeated, which is what so many Bible teachers do. The victory that Jesus won was a life, a death and a resurrection, which changes history. If you want to really share in the great victory, you have to be caught up in the work of Jesus. You have to trust him and belong to him and be forgiven by him.
