i cannot recommend this text enough. If you really want to understand imperialism and his connections to to capitalism, we did our best to explain it here. We do not say that we're leninist because we love lenin or some personal affinity for him. Where leninists were marxists, were leninists because marx and lenin did the scientific thing right. They studied the empirical data. Andnd, their analysis is unmatched anywhere else.
