This is a really interesting time to be thinking about noise because we've seen it happen all around us in the pandemic. If you're comparing a judgment or a measurement to a correct value, then there is an error and then the average of those errors over measurement is biased. The variability of these errors is noise and that exhausts errors. So I think I really think that that now is a great time to be getting into this question.
