Chuck, I Condemn the Attempted Murder of Paul Pelosi
The Capitol Police has said time and time again that they are under an enormous budget crunch right now. They just don't have a big enough budget that would be required to have a 24 hour, seven day a week detail on all 535 members of Congress. This is going to be a major topic of conversation in the next Congress how to solve this problem. Anybody that says they're surprised this happened has been living in a hole.
