Cognitive Bias
Some cognitive biases have the property that they're easy to be aware of in the abstract, but difficult to ever feel them being applied in the moment. One example is the halo effect, like beautiful people or tall people or, you know, various other things. How do you try to determine if the bias is applying right now versus just this could be a bias that applies in general? Yeah, I think it can be really hard. If you learn to pay close attention to your thoughts, which I was kind of mentioning earlier, I do think that that can give you insights that you don't normally notice.
