How Does the Day of the Performance Go?
An average day, i wake up, have a little coffee. I will sometimes do a work out. Sometimes i only work out on days off because the gig itself is so strenuous. Me and the keyboard player, jason, the musical director, we always talk about that. Inevitably, it turns into like a gratitude rally. If i'm not exhausted after a show, then i feel like i haven't played a great show. Then you get in early in the morning, and hopefully you can get back to sleep without having to take a sleeping pill,.
