Is the Bible a World Vision?

The Bible is always throwing stuff at you from other directions in a way that makes it very hard to have a proper world vision. We are not just shaped by concepts, although we are in part shaped by concept. The idea that I am in control and can make whatever I want to be available to me gives me a way of orienting myself in reality. This bundling of our own reality with the gospel is the danger if we don't realize the way in which we are being formed in which we live.
