Innovation in a Corporate Environment

I often encounter this where the focus is on saving money being efficient. I think it's just a bad psychology. The example I love to use is curiosity. You have to have these 20 traits and one of them is being curious, but curiosity in a corporate environment can be seen as a tax. And so most executives want their people to be innovative, but they don't allow them to express the traits of the innovator because it goes against the process to rules.
